About Sustainable Gardening
Our Story
I'm Joey, founder of Sustainable Gardening. What began as a side venture two years ago became my full-time passion in January 2025. Driven by a love for nature and strong plant knowledge, I launched this business to provide high-quality, eco-friendly gardening services, and I’ve since had the privilege of turning clients’ yards into beautiful, sustainable spaces.
My love for nature has been with me from the start. I began at Allans Garden Centre, then worked as a groundskeeper at St. Patrick’s College where I earned my Cert III in Horticulture, followed by a role with Meander Valley Council. Through these experiences, I realised I was meant for a job as a gardener. That’s when I decided to start Sustainable Gardening.
